The Arrighi Ornaments were re-cut nearly ten years ago at The Dale Guild Type Foundry. Originally engraved to go along with a reissue of Warde’s Arrighi, this ornament set is cast on 18 pt em set sorts. The Arrighi Ornaments are a versatile design comprised of six elements which can be used as stand-alone ornamentation, composed to make intricate borders, or even to produce large Arabesque fields. Our fonts, shown in the attached images, consist of seven 6″ sort lines, or a total of one hundred sixty eight 18 pt em set sorts.
